Welcome to my ever changing, moving and shaking world of quilting! So many things are up and coming within the realm of textiles and fiber arts and I am busily trying to keep up with it all! I just want to know - how'd they do that?

And to tell the truth, once I learn how they did that, I start thinking - How can I do that and do it easier? Low and behold, I frequently figure it out. Most of my work is centered around great techniques that just make the quiltiing process more simplified and successful!

Take for instance this lovely green and black flying geese quilt on the right. I call it my Fantastic Flying Geese. There they go, round and round in circle after intersecting circle! But it is important to note that these geese are not appliqued down nor is the background sewn in with curved piecing! The pattern is almost ready to debut - keep checking back to find out how I did that!

My love of quilting never stops. The tradition of quilt-making that was born from necessity and now becomes a piece of art, a gift of love or the conveyance of caring fascinates me to no end. I love a beautiful traditional quilt with its symmetry and elegance and am drawn to create these wonderful quilts over and over again.

However, I've been known to get a little "arty" with appliqué, beads and embroidery. Every now and then, you've just got to step out of the box, learn a new technique, play around with fabric and form, expand your horizons and see what happens. Take a look at my gallery and see what I mean.

Please sit a while and explore these pages on my website. Enjoy the show! Check out my blog to get the latest happenings in my studio. There is often a Free Block of the Month there. Come back often as things are are moving pretty fast around here!
