Welcome to my world! My love of quilting never stops. One might say its more of a way of life for me or even an obsession. The stories of quilts and quilt-makers touch my heart. The colors and textures of fabric and thread fuel my brain. Breathtaking quilting lines keep me mesmerized for hours. The tradition of quilt-making that was born from necessity and now becomes a piece of art, a gift of love or the conveyance of caring fascinates me to no end.
The beauty of a traditional quilt calls to me with its symmetry and elegance. I am drawn to create these wonderful quilts over and over again. However, I've been known to get a little "arty" with appliqué, beads and embroidery. Every now and then, you've just got to step out of the box, learn a new technique, play around with fabric and form, expand your horizons and see what happens.
