{"id":2030,"date":"2015-11-09T10:27:35","date_gmt":"2015-11-09T14:27:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/weblog\/?p=2030"},"modified":"2015-11-09T10:27:35","modified_gmt":"2015-11-09T14:27:35","slug":"busy-tuffet-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/weblog\/?p=2030","title":{"rendered":"Busy Tuffet Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had the good fortune to visit the Lebanon Quilt Guild in Pennsylvania for the third time this year and we made <a href=\"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/store.php?cat=5\" target=\"_blank\">Quick and Cute Tuffets<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/weblog\/?attachment_id=2031\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2031\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-2031\" src=\"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/lebanon-tuffet-collage-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"lebanon tuffet collage\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A couple of these were made from ties and the maker could tell you when and where the ties were worn &#8211; those two tuffets are going to be quite the family treasures. If you are using ties for your tuffets, it&#8217;s important to open them up and stabilize them for the best results.<\/p>\n<p>Another tuffet was made with upholstery fabric &#8211; who would have thought of that!! Although the fabric was a little thick in the center ( and I am putting it mildly here) it all came together with beautiful results!<\/p>\n<p>And while I was there, one lady brought in her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/store-detail.php?cat=3&amp;ID=5\" target=\"_blank\">Optical Illusion<\/a> quilt from the last workshop I did with the group. The borders she added were from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/store-detail.php?cat=3&amp;ID=7\" target=\"_blank\">Chinese Fans<\/a> pattern &#8211; lovely combination!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/weblog\/?attachment_id=2032\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2032\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-2032\" src=\"http:\/\/www.erinunderwoodquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/lebanon-optical-illusion-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"lebanon optical illusion\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had the good fortune to visit the Lebanon Quilt Guild in Pennsylvania for the third time this year and we made Quick and Cute Tuffets!
